West Virginia Vs. Louisville Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The No. 24 West Virginia Mountaineers (6-2, 2-1) host the Louisville Cardinals (4-4, 2-1) in a Big East Showdown this Saturday, November 5, at Mountaineer Field. WVU and Louisville are two of the three teams chasing the No. 23 Cincinnati Bearcats for the Big East lead, so this matchup is key.

Louisville has won each of its last two games to climb back to .500. Most recently, it topped the Syracuse Orange, 27-10, behind a strong performance from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The true freshman completed 70.8 percent of his pases for 198 yards and two touchdowns. The Cardinals' defense did its job, particularly against the run, limiting the Orange to 84 yards on the ground.

The Mountaineers, meanwhile, have won three of their last four, including a 41-31 come-from-behind victory against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on October 29. WVU pitched a shutout in the second half and scored 20 points of its own to pull off the win. With two touchdown passes and a go-ahead touchdown run, quarterback Geno Smith accounted for all of the Mountaineers' second-half scores.
