LSU Vs. WVU: Tigers Score Again On Odell Beckham Touchdown, Lead 20-7

Well, so much for keeping it close. After Geno Smith’s touchdown pass to make it 13-7, the Mountaineers did, in fact, stop LSU’s offense. Unfortunately, a 52-yard punt by Brad Wing stuck WVU at its own 4 yard line. The Mountaineers managed one first down (a pass from Smith to Stedman Bailey), but they were soon forced to punt.

After two rushing plays, Jarrett Lee passed to Odell Beckham on third-and-1, and the play went 52 yards for another Tigers touchdown. After the extra point, it’s now 20-7, LSU, with about seven minutes left in the half.

It’s been an up-and-down first half for the Mountaineers, but they’ve got some tough sledding ahead. One more touchdown would put them right back in it, however. Let’s see if Geno Smith and company can get that done before halftime.
