College Football Rankings 2011: Victory Over WVU Lifts LSU To No. 1 In AP Poll

After beating West Virginia Saturday night, LSU has climbed to the top of the AP poll, topping Oklahoma. WVU remains in the rankings despite the loss - the Mountaineers at No. 22.

Oklahoma beat Missouri 38-28 this week, and Alabama beat Arkansas 38-14.

In addition to WVU, the Big East is represented by South Florida, which blew out UTEP this week. The Bulls play Pitt on Thursday.

The Big Ten is represented by Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan and Illinois. Penn State somehow avoids all of those teams for the next month - the Nittany Lions' first four conference games are against Indiana, Iowa, Purdue and Northwestern. They then take on Illinois, Nebraska and Wisconsin in their last four months.
