The Pittsburgh Panthers look to rebound from a tough Friday-night loss to the Syracuse Orange and claim their first Big East conference victory Saturday against the undefeated Louisville Cardinals.

The Cardinals, along with the Cincinnati Bearcats and Rutgers Scarlet Knights, make up a trio of Big East squads that are nationally ranked and undefeated on the year. Rutgers will be tested this weekend against the Syracuse Orange, while Cincinnati takes on the FCS Fordham Rams.

In the Big 12, the West Virginia Mountaineers will head to Lubbock, Texas, to take on the Texas Tech Raiders in a key Big 12 showdown as the Mountaineers look to stay undefeated and continue climbing in the eyes of pollsters as the BCS rankings loom. The No. 5 Mountaineers are pacing the Big 12 at 2-0 in conference play, tied for first in the Big 12 with the No. 6 Kansas State Wildcats.
