Kevin Jones, the former West Virginia Mountaineer, has been signed to a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, according to a team press release, and will suit up for the franchise's NBA Development League team, the Canton Charge, as one of the Cavaliers' NBA roster players.

Jones has played in three games already with the Charge, scoring 27.0 points per game (shooting 54.0 percent from the field) and grabbing 13.7 rebounds in 41.3 minutes per night. After going undrafted in the 2012 NBA Draft, Jones was signed by the Cavaliers before being waived by the team in late October.

Playing all four seasons with the Mountaineers, Jones was named to the second team All-American roster in 2012 as well as the first team All-Big East roster for the same year.

Jones will likely play in Canton's next game, when the Charge host the Erie BayHawks on Friday.
