This weekend provided college football fans everywhere with plenty of action between teams ranked high in the polls. With a couple of upsets and a few schools escaping with big wins, the bowl game projections have shifted a bit.
After falling to TCU in double overtime, the West Virginia Mountaineers are looking at the Alamo Bowl, according to Jerry Palm of CBS Sports. They would face the USC Trojans in what would be a high-scoring game.
As for this year's BCS games, CBS Sports believes it'll be Alabama against Oregon for the national championship. Those teams are currently ranked No. 1 and No. 3 in the BCS rankings, respectively.
The Fiesta Bowl would pit Kansas State against Notre Dame. At the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, Florida would take on Oklahoma in a battle of two prestigious programs.
Florida State is projected to take on Louisville for the Orange Bowl. Last, but not least, Nebraska and Oregon State are projected to square off at the Rose Bowl.
