Notre Dame Vs. West Virginia Final Score: 'Eers Can't Hold On, Lose 55-51

The West Virginia Mountaineers hosted the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the hopes of picking up another Big East win and their second game in a row, but at halftime the 'Eers trailed 26-16, as they struggled to put points on the board. West Virginia was able to battle back in the second half however and take the lead over Notre Dame at one point in the second half, but just couldn't hold on as they lost 55-51.

West Virginia hit on just two of their 16 three-point shot attempts in the loss as Jabarie Hinds hit on one of those shots on his way to leading the Mountaineers in scoring with 17 points. Kevin Jones picked up a double-double on the night with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Jack Cooley led the way for the Fighting Irish with 21 points and 12 rebounds.
