NCAA Tournament Scores, Kansas State Vs. Southern Mississippi: Wildcats Lead 30-27 At The Half

The Kansas State Wildcats have a three-point lead over the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles in their first-round game of the 2012 NCAA tournament. The Wildcats lead 30-27.

Kansas State is the eighth seed and Southern Mississippi is the ninth seed in the East regional. Their game is one of two first-round games taking place in Pittsburgh.

Rodney McGruder is pacing the Wildcats with a stunning total of 18 points in the first half. McGruder is 6-of-11 from the field. The Wildcats are out-shooting their opponents, hitting 44 percent of their field goals versus 33.3 percent for the Golden Eagles.

The winner of this game will take on the winner of the game between Syracuse and UNC Asheville.
