March Madness 2012, Syracuse Vs. Kansas State: TV Schedule, Game Time And More

The Kansas State Wildcats play the Syracuse Orange in Saturday's first game at the CONSOL Energy Center at 12:15 p.m. The Wildcats, coming off a 70-64 victory over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles on Thursday, play the Orange, who became the latest No. 1 seed to survive a scare from a No. 16 seed after defeating the UNC-Ashville Bulldogs on Thursday, 72-65.

The loss of Fab Melo for Syracuse is apparent as the Bulldogs had a lead as late as six minutes remaining in the second half. The Orange came back and won thanks to 12 points and eight rebounds from forward Kris Joseph and 11 points from guard Scoop Jardine. Reserve forward James Southerland led the Orange with 15 points off the bench and 8 rebounds.

The Wildcats on the other hand had a huge second round game from guard Rodney McGruder, who scored 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting. Forward Jordan Henriquez and guard Angel Rodriguez also were in double figures, with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

The game tips off at 12:15 p.m. and television coverage will be provided on CBS.
