NCAA Bracket 2012, Syracuse Vs. Kansas State Final Score: Orange Knock Out Wildcats 75-59

The Syracuse Orange exited halftime against the Kansas State Wildcats with just a 25-24 lead in the third round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament, but quickly were able to pull ahead in the second half of the ballgame. The Orange were able to hold a double-digit lead for much of the second half, pulling away to a near 20 point lead towards the end of the game to a 75-59.

Dion Walters led the Orange in scoring with 18 points off the bench while Scoop Jardine picked up 16 points and 8 assists in the game. James Southerland also added 15 points off the bench with Rakeem Christmas picking up 11 rebounds and 8 points.

For the Wildcats Rodney McGruder led the team in scoring the loss with 17 points while Jordan Henriquez picked up a double-double with 12 points with 17 rebounds. Angel Rodriguez also picked up 12 points as K-State gets knocked out in Round 3 of the NCAA Tournament. The Orange will now move on to Round 4.
