March Madness Bracket 2012: Kansas And Kentucky Join Ohio State And Louisville In The Final Four

The Final Four is complete after two titans of the college basketball landscape filled the final two spots on Sunday afternoon. Kentucky and Kansas, two of the most storied programs in NCAA basketball history, joined Ohio State and Louisville as the last four teams standing in New Orleans. While both have had dramatically different paths this season, the Jayhawks and the Wildcats avoided last minute nail-biters and clinched double-digit victories.

Kentucky completely dismantled Baylor early on, clamping down on the defensive end and shutting down the Bears to take a 20-point halftime lead. The Wildcats let Baylor cut into that deficit but Scott Drew's club never really challenged the No. 1 overall seed down the stretch. Kansas, on the other hand, went back-and-forth with a depleted North Carolina club for much of the game before the Jayhawks went on a run over the final three minutes to seal the win.

There will be plenty to come this week on a Final Four full of drama and storylines. The Battle for Kentucky between two blood rivals will certainly be discussed ad nauseum. But on the other side of the bracket, two goliath BCS schools will provide an excellent nightcap to next Saturday's action. New Orleans will certainly be a party.
