The Sporting News ranks West Virginia the sixth-best football/basketball school in the country, noting the talents of football coach Dana Holgorsen and basketball coach Bob Huggins.

The move to the Big 12 gives the entire program some stability, but there’s still the unknown factor of how much longer Huggins coaches, and if WVU can keep Holgorsen from a bigger job.

Florida ranks first overall, followed by Ohio State, which is set to take on Kansas in the Final Four. There are three more Big Ten schools in the top 10: Wisconsin (No. 3), Michigan State (No. 4), and Michigan (No. 8). Penn State's weak basketball program surely keeps it out of the top 10, but the Nittany Lions are still in a very strong conference.

Also present are Texas (No. 5), Alabama (No. 7), Oklahoma (No. 9) and Baylor (No. 10).
