West Virginia has announced the funeral dates/times for former head coach Bill Stewart, who passed away on Monday at the age of 59 following an apparent heart attack. Replacing Rich Rodriguez, he served as the Mountaineers' coach from 2008-2010.
According to Jenn Menendez of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a public viewing for Stewart will be held on Thursday at the Morgantown Event Center from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. followed by a funeral and private mass at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Stewart will then be buried at the North View Cemetery in his hometown of New Martinsville, W.Va.
The family has reportedly requested that instead of flowers, contributions be made to the Bill Stewart Memorial Community Fund,
