College Football Rankings 2012: WVU At No. 11 In Coaches Poll

Geno Smith and WVU rank No. 11 in the country heading into their first season in the Big 12.

The preseason edition of the college football Coaches' Poll is out, and West Virginia fans will be pleased to see WVU at No. 11.

Joining the Mountaineers as representatives from the Big 12 are Oklahoma (No. 4), Texas (No. 15), TCU (No. 17), Oklahoma State (No. 19) and Kansas State (No. 21). Unsurprisingly, there aren't any ranked schools from the Big East. The Big Ten has Michigan (No. 8), Wisconsin (No. 12), Michigan State (No. 13) and Nebraska (No. 16).
